| Something fun - by Gangis |
With the last post aside, I started playing around with MacOS X. I managed to install it on my laptop. It's now running natively, in a dual-boot configuration. That means when I start up my laptop, I can choose to run either Windows XP or MacOS X. It's pretty fun. Let me tell you this, MacOS X isn't even supposed to run on Intel-based systems. It was normally designed for the PowerPC platform (which is largely incompatible) but Apple announced that they were switching to Intel due to cost and supply reasons, and soon after the installer was leaked. Two weeks later, it was hacked to run on standard computers, not just the Apple developer systems. And it runs great. P.S. Only a geek such as me would appreciate this. |
