Joey, you IDIOT! - by Gangis

I promised myself that I wouldn't get in the middle of this crap, but I have no choice because I care and worry for you as a friend. I still do consider you a valuable friend, but you're making it harder and harder for me. You talk about cutting your chest and killing yourself, and that really scares me. And then you accuse me of not being a friend.

Let me ask you, Joey, do you think that if I weren't such a friend to you, would I constantly worry about your health and well-being? Would I try and get you to stop cutting yourself? Please pause for a second and think about this.

Keep in mind that I still consider you a good friend when I say this. I want you to realize what's going on, and how Jenn, Rob and I see this. It dawned on me today that you're an egoistical, self centered drama queen who always has to be the center of attention. You always have to announce to people that you're a homosexual, and you're extremely obsessive about yourself. You have very little regard for the feelings of others around you.

You toy with everybody's feelings, even if you don't realize it. The three of us worry about you, and we try to help like the friends we are, but you push us away. We don't want to see you get hurt. Please, think about what I just said.

We went through this shit already, about two years ago, and I'm not about to go through it one more time. You need to realize what you've been doing. Admitting that you have a problem is the first step toward a recovery.

I have no intention of breaking ties with you, I would like to continue being friends with you. However, it is up to you. I told you the truth, and now you must decide for yourself what you want to do. It really upsets us to see you like this, and it upsets us further when you jump to conclusions.

I beseech you, read what I said a few times and then think about it before you and I talk. I really want to help you, but first you need to help yourself.
