Yup, I just went through Charley. I'm okay, so is my family. My area, Melbourne, wasn't hit bad at all, just trees, branches, leaves, etc. However, my apartment up in Casselberry was in the hardest hit zone in Central Florida. It's been 3 days and there's still no power. I'm supposed to move in there tomorrow. :-/ And the worst part? Progress Energy says it may take as long as this coming Saturday to restore power to everybody in Seminole County. I went through a 6-hour power failure Friday night (11pm-4am) and it was almost unbearable because of the Florida humidity, so I'm not looking forward to this week at the apartment. And we just got our HDTV back. :| Been dying to use it.

I don't know if I'll be able to post or catch up on my email during the week, it depends on if I can take full advantage of the university's facilities a week before I'm supposed to start classes. I don't think I'll have any problems, but I might just get moved in, take care of what I need to do at the university and come back to my parents'. I'm gonna play it by ear.

My heart goes out to the people who have lost their homes and families in Punta Gorda, Ft. Myers and Winter Park.
