| Some News Bits - by Gangis |
I spent the weekend in my flat in Casselberry with my good friend Rich. He bought a new car, a 1987 Mercedes-Benz 350td Wagon. The TD stands for Turbo Diesel. It's a spiffy station wagon, looks almost brand new, very efficient at 40 miles per gallon using diesel fuel. In contrast, my car uses gasoline, and goes about 25 miles per gallon. Sometime in 2006 when I finally finish my career at University and get a real job, I'm going to trade up to a 2007 Nissan Altima Hybrid for much greater fuel efficiency. I love my 2000 Altima but that thing's so expensive to maintain, considering how much I drive. It's been nearly a year (50 weeks, exactly) since I got it, and I've already put in 13,000 miles. That's a lot! Enough car talk. I'm STILL trying to clear up the mess with my employment at the Altamonte Springs CompUSA to no avail. By that, I mean I cannot even get in touch with the operations manager there! Bleh! I'm starting to think that it may be a sign, I shouldn't even think about getting a job while going to university. I probably should live off my parents' money. I dunno... Anyway, here come the news bits I promised: Take a vacation in beautiful, scenic Hell! It takes all kinds to make the world... *rolls eyes* |
